What We Do

Secret Recipe are based in Cork, in the heart of Munster and the home of many of Ireland’s artisan food companies. The team specialize in the supply of premium gluten free meals, soups and side dishes for the food service industry in the UK and Ireland. Our extensive premium range of gluten free soups and gluten free meals have been taste tested by members of the Irish Coeliac Society. We achieved very favourable results.

The team has over ten years of experience supplying some of Ireland’s and the UK’s leading food service companies and suppliers to delis, convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, specialized caterers, schools, staff restaurants, canteens, hospitals, coffee shops, sandwich bars, farmers markets, contract caterers. Our delivery service operate 6 days a week to both the UK and Ireland.

Unlike other major food factories and suppliers, all food is made to order. If you place your order before 12 noon, our team of elite and specialized chefs will prepare your order. We will have it ready to be delivered to you in our recyclable packaging.

We are a family owned and operated business that can make decisions quickly.

Our prepared meals are typically packed in 2.5kg packs. Our premium soups are packed in 5 ltrs and 2 ltr packs.



How We Work

All our packaging formats are full recyclable. Secret Recipe are proud to be fully verified members of Origin Green, the only 3rd party verified national sustainability program in the world.

We are proud that our kitchen has been awarded Grade A BRC, accreditation.

As part of the range development process, we have carried out extensive research on our range. While producing old favourites in both our prepared soups and meals. We have developed new lines such as our award-winning Caribbean Chicken and Mango Curry or our Kerala Potato and Coconut Curry. All our lines are gluten free.

The company have looked at research to see the regions of the world where the recipes are increasing in sales in a retail format and in order to offer these lines to our many national and local clients. Our range is the most extensive range on the market.

Our multi-award winning soups have old faithful’s such as Potato and Leek or Tomato and Basil. In addition to this we have introduced vegan lines such as; our award-winning Californian Pumpkin and Ginger, Jamaican Yam Coconut Milk and Chilli or our famous Crosshaven Seafood Chowder, that is thickened with seaweed from the Aran Islands.

We are also open to partnering with other companies on private label projects, as long as this partnerships are sustainable for both parties.

The company take great pride in its sustainability program and we are proud members of Bord Bia’s Origin Green programme.

The company works to ensure that all our red meats are grass fed and that our strict animal welfare rules are adhered to. We do not use MSG in any of our gluten free recipes.
